where am i? why can't i just get it together?

This is the first time that I've been brave enough to take my nicest camera out to a party. I don't know why i say brave, i must've been on crack to think this was ok. All of my greatest fears were confirmed. Yes i did get beer on the lens. Yes i did get knocked over with camera in hand. Yes i did almost drop it. Moral of the story.....parties were made for toy cameras, not real ones. realtalk.

Recently, tried to dip my pinky toe into the shallow waters of more marketable yet less inspired photography. I like to call it dentist office art. Gross, I know, but how else do you get your art bought by dentists? and doctors and other people who have the disposable income to buy art? I love my friends and I appreciate that they like my work but...y'know, my friends don't have any money to buy it right now. so where does that leave me? Broke as shit, that's where.
